Description: Solid black Mare from the first set of Grand Champions.
Markings: Blended white socks on both hind legs. No white on front legs.
A very large, white diamond on the face. All four hooves are black.
Notes: No "GC" logo on the hindquarter.
Name: Steppin' Out / Velvet Twilight

Year: 1994-95
Description: Solid black Mare. Black body with black hair.
Markings: White star and snip on face. Three modest, low socks.
(Left hind foot is solid.)
All hooves are black.
Notes: Like several mares of 94-95, this horse had a different name depending on
how she was sold (with a foal, or alone and wearing tack).

Description: Solid black mare; black body with black hair.
Markings: Star on forehead. Two blended socks on the onside feet.
All hooves are black.

Description: Solid black mare; black body with black hair.
Markings: Markings are indistinct. Seems to have two, modest hind socks.
May have a star as well.
Notes: This is a Velvet Coated Horse, a special release with a layer
of flocking on top of the regular mold.

Markings: White blaze on face. Two blended socks on the on-side legs.
Notes: This black mare was a Euro exclusive, and only available with the UK version
of the stable playset. It is unknown if she has a name.

Description: Bay mare. Brown body with black shading on muzzle and legs. Black mane and tail.
Markings: None.
Similars: Near-Identical to Princess. However, Princess Bay may have less black
shading (as this photo suggests) and should be an original mold mare, not a remold.

Description: Bay mare. Brown body with black muzzle and legs. Blackish shading on body and ears as well.
Black mane and tail.
Markings: None.
Notes: This is a Velvet Coated Horse, a special release with a layer
of flocking on top of the regular mold. She may simply be a flocked version of Princess Bay.

Description: Bay bay mare. Brown body with black shading on muzzle and legs.
Black mane and tail.
Markings: None.
Similars: Near-Identical to Princess Bay. However, Princess may have more

shading on muzzle. Incomplete black shading on legs. (The fetlocks are pale/brownish.)

Breed: Warmblood
Year: 1994-95
Description: Buckskin-like mare. Cream colored body with bright orange shading.
Black mane and tail.
Glossy, thick, black shading on legs and muzzle.
Markings: None
Notes: Like several mares of 94-95, this horse had a different name depending on
how she was sold (with a foal, or alone and wearing tack).
Name: Sugar Blaze
Breed: Quarter Horse
Year: 1997
Description: Buckskin/Dun-like mare. Yellowish tan with black mane and tail. Brown shading on body, including a blended dorsal band (as this photo shows). Black shading on muzzle and legs.
Markings: None.
Notes: Despite her name (and some promotional photos), Sugar Blaze does not have
a blaze.
Similars: Very similar to Lusitano Mare and UK Mustang mare, but Sugar Blaze will
have normal GC hair (Short and smooth).

Breed: Lusitano
Year: 1994-96
Description: Buckskin-like mare. Yellowish brown with black mane and tail. Black
shading on muzzle and legs. Body is shaded with brownish gray. Mane and tail are crimped and
extra long.
Markings: None.
Notes: This mare was exclusive to a stall playset that was available in the mid-1990s.
She was not given a name. Collectors often call her "Lucy" or "The Lucy Mare."

Year: 2003-05
Description: Buckskin-like mare. Yellowish brown with black mane and tail. Black
shading on muzzle and legs. Body is shaded with brownish gray. Mane and tail are crimped and
extra long.
Markings: None.
Notes: This was a UK-exclusive mare who looked like the
previous Lusitano mare. They seem to be the exact same horse, though actuals haven't been compared.
(Similarly, the UK Mustang Lucy does not have a name.)
