Description: White mare with white hair. Dark gray shading on muzzle and pasterns. Black hooves.
Markings: None.
Notes: There is No "GC" Logo on the hind quarter. This horse was never given a breed, but was described as the "Silky White Mare."









Name: Moon Maiden

Year: 1994-95
Description: White Mare with white hair. Black shading on muzzle, and incomplete/blended around the legs (pasterns are lighter).
Markings: None
Notes:
Similars: Original White Mare is similar, but will have medium gray shading on the muzzle and coronets. Moon Maiden's shading is distinctly black and extends above the fetlocks. Also, Moon Maiden will have a "GC" Logo.

Description: Pale gray mare with darker gray hair and shading. Blackish shading on muzzle and around hooves.

Description: Pale gray mare with darker gray hair and shading.
Markings: None
Notes: This is a velvet-coated horse, with a layer of soft flocking on top of the regular plastic. She is believed to be a flocked version of Windsong.









Name: Wild Alice / Irish Lace

Breed: Thoroughbred
Year: 1994-95
Description: Flecked white mare with blonde hair. Body is white, flecked throughout with specks of brown and/or black. There is orange/red shading around the hooves. Muzzle is shaded blackish.
Markings: None
Notes: As was common for the 94-95 group, this mare had two names. (One for her release with a foal, the other for her single release with tack.)









Name: Gray Willow / Powerful Magic

Breed: Thoroughbred
Year: 1994-95
Description: Gray, flecked mare. Body is medium gray with blackish shading on muzzle and legs. Hindquarters are shaded extensively with darker gray, nearly black in some individuals. Head and body are flecked with white. Hair is dark gray.
Markings: Both hind feet have coronet bands. There is no facial mark.

Notes: Variants exist, and color depth varies even between individuals of the same variant. Typical Gray Willow is cool gray with bold, dark shading (as the top photo shows). Others are warmer and paler (below), olive gray with modest shading, and do not show the blackish points or even have black hooves. These tend to have different shade hair color as well.

As was common for the 94-95 group, this mare had two names. (One for her release with a foal, the other for her single release with tack.)















Name: Sweet Silver

Breed: Arabian
Year: 1996
Description: Fleabitten gray mare. White body with gray shading, especially on muzzle and leg joints. (Lower leg areas are not shaded.) Body is flecked throughout with black/brown. Hair is silvery gray. Hooves tend to be an odd, yellowish brown.
Markings: None.
Notes: Variations exist, some lighter or darker gray, and different shades in hair color.
