Black/Bay ~ Chestnut ~ Palomino ~ White/Gray ~ Appaloosa

Blacks and Bays

Name: Blythe Spirit

Breed: Hanoverian
Year: 1999
Description: Dark brown/blackish? Dark brown body with darker shading. Mane and tail are black. All four legs are tinted white (to odd effect on a body this dark). Hooves are peach/pinkish.
Markings: Snip marking, small and pink. There are no true foot markings, but all legs are tinted white.

Notes: Promotional photos suggest black, but this horse is molded dark brown. Hair color (black) suggests dark bay, but the legs and muzzle have no black shading. This is a mysterious coat color, but typical of 1999's strange entries.

Name: Moment by Moment

Breed: Wurttemburger
Year: 2003-04
Description: Bay mare. Reddish brown body with darker shading. Black shading on muzzle and legs. Mane and tail are black.
Markings: Star or blaze (?) on face. Socks on both front feet.

Similars: UK Thoroughbred Mare (below) may be near identical, but Moment by Moment has two socks instead of four. Also, their ranges (North American vs. European) should distinguish them.
